What's your experience on using Discord instead of Slack. Are there as many people? I started thinking about opening a Discord for the Peering Manager community a few weeks back.

I really need discord to better support getting thru the messages in the channels more quickly. And maybe a little more business related. I have discord on my personal machines but not work and causes a lot of missed conversations because of discord.

looks like missed convos are because you don't have it on the work machine? Or maybe I misunderstood. The "catchup" feature in Slack is a good one, I agree. Helps you save clicks and get from one new thread to the other, but I had no issues without it either.

Exactly that I don’t put discord on since it is a bit associated with gaming. Maybe it will start to remove that association as time goes.
