And, like, this wouldn't be a total disaster if Apple hadn't prevented every single iOS browser from having this capability in the interim, along with so many others. And what's your confidence level that it won't ship broken? Stop excusing them while their boot's on the web's face.

totally! in the codepen, try changing the animation ranges, it's a great way to control when the animation finishes so you can get a more subtle or more extreme effect.

Is this tested in Canary or with some fancy flag enabled? A few things are off for me in Chrome. Both in stable, no flags enabled and in Dev (on Ubuntu). I'm getting a horizontal scrollbar and the whole thing moves to the left and out of sight as I scroll, plus last items don't animate into place...

no fancy flags needed scrollbar: i just needed overflow-x: hidden last items not animating, the range i have set is to complete their keyframes at 50% viewport height, and since i didnt do any padding or whatever, some of them dont get to finish. fixed it with 50vh padding. try again?

... they just remain shivering in the middle of the animation. Which is not happening *just* with this scroll animation demo, I've seen it with a bunch of others, so what is different with your setup if you can't see it? Also, quickly looking at the code, you don't need three different animations.

Does currently not work in stable Firefox Desktop (136), but it works in Firefox Nightly (138), somewhat: Tiles do not get merged on the bottom row when scrolling, but on the top. Chrome Desktop (134) works as advertised of course.
