A wave of gun violence claimed the lives of a number of teenagers across the country over the course of just three days — but did anyone notice? Individual acts of gun violence are devastating communities and stealing lives every day. Here are just a few of the headlines you may have missed. ⬇️

In Oak Park, MI, what should have been a birthday celebration turned into a nightmare when two teens were killed and two others were wounded in a shooting at a party. Families who gathered to celebrate are now planning funerals instead.

In Rochester, NY, 14-year-old Zahnia Barr was killed and three other people were wounded when gunfire broke out after a street festival.

In Yonkers, NY, a 20-year-old man was killed and four teens, ages 14-16, were wounded in a shooting that police believe was carried out by a 15-year-old boy.

In Abilene, TX, 17-year-old Bella Orona was shot and killed; two young men have been charged in connection with her death.

In Columbia, PA, 17-year-old Wilfredo Garcia was shot and killed, and another teenager has been charged in connection with his death.

In Columbus, OH, four teens — ages 13, 14, 17 and 19 — are being charged in connection with the shooting death of 15-year-old Deniro Arnold.
