Wait, wait, here's the full thing!

Interesting, I thought it was from the Doctor Who Technical Manual by Mark Harris (1983), but that's not it-- and there's some anatomical disagreement, too. Like according to Harris, those are "energy dispensers," energy overflow valves basically, not ears. I'm going with Harris on this one.

It's from the "DOCTOR WHO AND THE DALEKS OMNIBUS" (1976).

I was given this as child when it came out - still have it. It really has some of the best Doctor Who illustrations of the era

An earlier version appears in "THE DALEK BOOK" (1964). It may be of interest.

I suppose I should post the version from the Technical Manual while we're at it. I'd forgotten it was monochrome.
