I'm not a pro-ban person when it comes to substances but it remains beyond insane that 7-OH is being marketed and sold like it's 5 Hour Energy. This shit is not normal "kratom" and it's not an energy supplement. It's fucking Oxy and if you get addicted to it you will get dopesick.

It’s unfortunate, because actual Kratom, like the micronized powder, has helped a dear friend with pain management for a long time and now they have to get tarred with the same brush as people and places that sell that wicked little bottle in gas stations.

Exactly this. The push to ban kratom is driven mostly by high-profile incidents involving these derivatives, which are infinitely more dangerous.

ok now I’m curious, how long have these been on the market? Abt 10 yrs ago a friend’s ex spiraled while obviously addicted to kratom, using constantly for extreme emotional numbing. he prob wouldve been an abusive pos & schizophrenic anyway but never occurred to me that “kratom” might be other stuff
