Trump “I developed the term ‘America First’”. The America First Committee of the 1940’s who worked to keep the US out of WW2 would like a word. But since they were fascist just like Trump, maybe they would give him a pass. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/America...
Originally used by Ronald Reagan as a campaign slogan in his 1980 presidential campaign (Let's Make America Great Again) en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Make_Am....
Trump stoled America First from the KKK. cbwrong.blogspot.com/2025/06/prot...
A slogan used since 1890, used by both Presidential candidates in 1916, adopted in the 1920s by the KKK, popularized by Lindbergh and others arguing against the US entering WWII. But then, in Trump’s mind history began when he was born.
It's certain neither have listen to @maddow.msnbc.com #Ultra 1&2 podcast series - spelling out through historical fact it's a legacy from Groups supporting NaZi propaganda in 🇺🇸 pre and post war onward. Worth listening to, I learned so much.
Was just going to post something similar. I hope a reporter corrects him directly.
It's hilarious that he's claiming that he created America First because that was created back with the nazis... so he's showing his true colors. I highly suggest everyone give @maddow.msnbc.com Ultra podcast on this very topic and this history around the US government in that time period too.
Sadly, Trump is not the first to embrace America First. Let this serve as a reminder that there will always be greedy, selfish-minded, non-community minded people out there. We MUST learn from history or we will continue to be doomed by charlatans & cons. www.artsy.net/article/arts...
