It should not be easier to get a gun than it should be to vote. Fix that and we’ll talk.

Actually, no. Your statement implies that there is a level of voter suppression that is acceptable. That is a never will be true. Full voting rights for every person. Period.

Yes. The rest of the world looks at this and thinks; "you're off your fucking heads, have a word with yourselves, fucking idiots". Or, in Scots: "Ye're aff yer heids! Whit are ye thinking! Have a guid shake o' yer heids, ya fuckin' bams, yer mental an aw".

The SAVE act is a solution looking for a problem, clearly misogynistic. To vote women will need extensive documentation... The intent is to suppress women voters... Pedolf has said, "if voting was easy and convenient the GOP would never win another election... Father knows best, or so they say...

If you get convicted of a drug related crime, even a misdemeanor, the federal government doesn't take away your right to vote the federal government doesn't take away your right to vote after a felony conviction (a bunch of red states permaban though) "very odd" doesn't just apply to guns

all this works as part of a criminal "justice" system which - due to much higher rates of prosecution and conviction for brown people - churns out a lot of second class citizens with fewer rights than others Imagine having those inalienable rights gone because you were tried as adult at age 16

I had to drive 10 minutes to the voting place, walk another 3-4 to find the main area. Stand in line for another 10 minutes before I could go register. Your, “try again” is lazy as fuck. Do you put much thought into things before you click clack send?

We must invest in better facilities in-home as against attacking other countries. If US citizens do well, that will be the success of the government. Otherwise what is the government striving towards if not our wellbeing #EpsteinFiles #RemoveTrumpFromOffice #JusticeForReneeGood #JusticeForAlexPretti

It's way easier to vote then get a gun, even if the save act is passed It will still be easier than getting a gun in many states. Though it would be funny to have red flag laws taking people's right to vote away just because somebody else doesn't like them.

It’s not. You’re wildly misinformed and spouting, mindlessly spouting, nonsense fed to you by the mindless echo chamber. Congrats on giving your mind over to other people. Your wild intolerance is a marketer’s dream.

What a silly country. We make voting compulsory, the difference between our democracy and your oligarchy, we try and get as many people to vote as possible rather than the other way around. It gives the Left something to work for, I guess, but America was never a strong democracy, nor is Australia.

Goal to screen out malcontents who commit mass shootings or killings of passion not confiscate guns Crime is mostly from #poverty such that until we have better understanding of same crime will continue Laws exists as punishment versus a deterrent #GunReformNow #GUNviolence

Anti 2A people still don't understand the danger they're in You know they want to round up Democrats and send them to work camps right?

"This is the reason I did not want to vote for Trump, it's because I did not think he would have the willingness to go after these people with the severity and extremism that I want him to do. I want him to put these people in jail, I want him to trial them for treason, I want capital punishment ⬇⬇⬇

It is not, in fact, easier to get a gun than it should be to vote. It is easier, at least in certain states, to get a gun than it *is* to vote, but that isn't what you said. 😀

there's a lot of disqualifications for both that end up disproportionately disenfranchisong brown people kinda goes along with the "easier to vote" part, yeah for sure it's easy for me to vote, I have a car and can easily get to a polling place. Not so easy for a lot of people esp "urban" areas

In Canada, it’s so easy to vote. Our issue is getting people to the polls. However, the last federal election was a different story. People flooded the polls to make sure Poilievre was not PM. Trump imo flipped the conservative lead to liberal.
