I think, in general, it looks good. I will tone down a bit, maybe a bit, the yellow and/or the red, as somehow the contrast between them seems very strong visually. Not sure how to express this in design terms :)

I think that’s up to the conference. You could tone it down by adding more white space but then are you losing the flavor of the event?

Thanks for the feedback! In all cases I tried to mimik the design language of the event as closly as possible. In this case it's the branding of RubyKaigi's 2024 edition, checkout their site here: rubykaigi.org/2024/

I was thinking as a possible solution that maybe the rubyvideo color scheme now having all the conferences artwork could be more pastel or even change to gray or dark gray. A dark gray or black nabvar will probably work with any conference artwork. Just saying, I am not a designer :)

Also adding here: Thank you for all the work to make this website look great and gather all the conferences. It is so nice to have them all in a single place. It is very close to having a Ruby TV show :)
