I was sharing RubyVideo with my team. It is so cool. I need to add a PR to add BrightonRuby videos

github.comAdd Brighton Ruby 2023 videos by marcoroth · Pull Request #167 · adrienpoly/rubyvideoThis PR is based on #266.

Awesome, thank you! Would love to hear what features you think would be useful for the site. The Brighton Ruby videos would be aweome! I started with the 2023 edition here a few weeks ago: github.com/adrienpoly/r...

That is SUPER amazing. I’m interested to hear what @andycroll.bsky.social says; it would be excellent to see them in the collection. It’s unsurprising that RubyVideo is up my street. I love collation, archiving and history.

I’m torn honestly. Like it, but think the talks have value drawing folks to buy tickets for the following year. Which is why I never youtube-d them. Happy to have them indexed there and playable on brightonruby.com.

Yeah right? It's kinda crazy to see how fast see fades from the internet. I realized that it's super hard to gather any info about some of the conferences that happened around 2015-2017 and that's not even 10 years ago.

I think, in general, it looks good. I will tone down a bit, maybe a bit, the yellow and/or the red, as somehow the contrast between them seems very strong visually. Not sure how to express this in design terms :)

I think that’s up to the conference. You could tone it down by adding more white space but then are you losing the flavor of the event?
