i played maplestory back in 2006 religiously when i was younger and i kinda want to play the reboot but i hate nexon as a gaming company, they end of service everything 🙄

maplestory 2 was also really fun but it only lasted for 1 year and 7 months man 😑

I fell for this twice, played Maplestory 2 from release until closure. Then got really into Kartrider Drift knowing full well Nexon would just get me again and they region locked that too...

I got a founders pack for that too... 100 bucks for less than 2 years of game 😔 (Though I might hop on classic anyways I just... gotta pry myself from work to try it)

LIKE I was genuinely so excited following the development and early trailers but then I feel like a lot of that Actual gameplay excitement died cause they didn't really... do much with the GAME, 60 level cap and super dry end game dungeons that require cheese... and every class having the same story

In an ideal world, a 3D, isometric, modular, collapsible and interact-able terrain system paired with dynamic movement based abilities on a cooldown system where a robust sliding scale + surface tracking character customization system WITH player-made cosmetics as the icing on top- SOUNDS GREAT!!!

The target audience for maplestory 2 was the same audience as MS1, so lots of people played it, then went right back to MS1.

sameee, I had 2000 hours from '05 to '08 and it totally took over my high school years. but as an adult it's obvious that nexon is so heinous that there's no way I want to touch anything they've put their paws on
