I'm doing mostly the same, #Obsidian + #Hugo + custom "make deploy" that #rsync 's all the content to the production server

Also interested in a writeup. I currently have a very hacky obsidian markdown -> Hugo parser that barely works and it’s a good bit of work to go from a draft in obsidian to a final article.
