unlike X, your experience here is entirely determined by the choices you've made about which people/feeds to follow. if you're experiencing bad vibes, it's a you problem for me, X is a wasteland. all the interesting people left long ago, and the algorithm feeds me ragebait and grifter junk

depends what you find interesting. the vast majority of the musicians/writers/reporters/foodies/scientists etc that made X interesting (to me) β€” in other words, the creatives β€” have very largely abandoned ship. if you only care about tech and don't mind being part of the fascism machine, X is fine

> and don't mind being part of the fascism machine mannnn this smug self righteousness is a terrible look I'll put it to you this way: all the wonderful, _brilliant_ people I enjoyed chatting with at your employer's conference last October are all on Twitter still πŸ˜‰

Why you so hellbent on defending X? Platform ran by a politicized wankhead who's not just annoying but pushing heavy propaganda 24/7. If you squint your eyes and keep a mute list, maybe the few gems are worth it for you, but it's not the case for many. Surely it's not that hard to understand?

Yea, things got out of hand fast, ngl πŸ˜…
