I just wanted to know if I was too old to get a cushy fascism job, ended up researching glaciers

Curious about the specifics of DHS’s latest announcement, I turned to Google and… I guess I should have expected this

This is mostly accurate except it doesn’t get the pun but just swaps in the misspelled word. Plus it cites as a source the band that made this record:

About to make a dad joke, I googled to see just how unoriginal it was, and... no it isn’t. That isn’t true

Just retried this and got a totally different fabrication. In fact “Monday pop,” which I Googled after coming across it in a text from the 1800s, referred to the “Monday Popular Concerts” as was clear from the context (en.wikisource.org/wiki/A_Dicti...)

See, I just don’t think this is true

I’m curious about the relationship between President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Chief Justice Earl Warren, two well-known political figures. Let’s see what Google can tell us in response to a query for “fdr and earl warren” (without quotes)

Here’s an interesting one. If you want to know what “CCI” stands for in this context, the AI Overview summary does not tell you. Further down in the response, it does correctly list the properties that make up the acronym, but… conflates it with something called a “Coherence-Consistency Interface”?

Wanted to find out when to arrive at a certain location to watch the NYC Marathon. Let’s ask AI Overview! First attempt, looks pretty good, even breaks the info down into a handy table. Though it seems a bit suspect that the men will start at 9:05 and may arrive at 9:00. Maybe we should try again?
