My possibly misinformed take: The lefty cheat sheet is IMO pretty cool! Useful, helps w/issue of going to only one source. To me, design screams "claude" but while that's relevant to lots of conversations, it isn't to the question of utility.

I know the supposed appeal of vibe coding tools is that anyone can do it. In my experience, that's more hopeful than borne out by reality. Thus, I expect someone with software experience is behind it. Kind of wish I'd thought of it! If it were me, I'd be saying "yep, that's me!"

I guess it probably doesn't matter that much who made it, until you notice all the political info out there that nobody will attach their name to. Nobody being proud enough of it to say "yep, that's me!" makes me wonder why. Which would occupy my brain for like 2 minutes...

Lefty Cheat Sheet clearly identifies itself as a project of Share the Cities, a well-known organization with considerable history. What more do people want?

But that wasn’t there when ECB asked. If they’d said ”whoops, we forgot to publish the attribution - fixed, please refresh” I think the conversation would have stopped there. Instead, people got weird about it.

Maybe I'm just an oblivious normie, but the implicit goal is for there to be a resource that reaches beyond the highly engaged folks who don't need a cheat sheet, right? As a lefty-identifying but not-highly-engaged person, I've never heard of Share the Cities before all this blew up.
