Why redactions? This was a planned renovation of a public space. No confidential or top secret national security info should be in this report, nor names of victims of abuse that need to be kept private. So whose butt is being protected this time?

While Mrs. Robert Kraft is at it, maybe she could unseal her side piece. I'm guessing he's a Republican, 30ish, dreamy eyes, regular Fox or CNN contributor. Typical Beltway scumbag.

They might want to ensure the safety of the many gifts housed in the Kennedy Center. I wonder how much money they are receiving for the Steinway piano or other items that used to be in the Kennedy Center.

Yeah nice, because they 100% are not going to just ignore what a judge said. Wasnt there some law to release the files, too? What happened to that, no judge ordering their release or something? What about wars? What about tarifs? Which rulebook are you waving here?

Must? Who’s going to make them? Seriously, there have been so many things the courts have said this administration “must” do. You know, like release the Epstein files. We’re still waiting for the to do that. I’m won’t hold my breath on this one.

Defense: trump lawyers argued the presidents statements/conversations at board meetings are privileged Plaintiff: argued that trump statements made in his capacity as chairperson of the board and not as president. Trumps handpicked board majority elected trump as chairperson.

Anything that would otherwise cause somebody to need to take the 5th Amendment to avoid incriminating themselves. Like who they were bribing, and how much, and for what, and how much of a cut various Trump businesses got.

We'll see if the judge ultimately allows any. The Board claims some are necessary for security and safety concerns. Judge Cooper will rule on their proposals.

Thanks. Trump has the judiciary hoodwinked on cries of national security. Perhaps Beethoven’s 5th is considered a threat. In a more general sense, though, I DO think the courts are ill-equipped to make NatSec judgments. Their responses to all of those should be,”take it to Congress where the Const

Yeah. I’m sure they’ll obey THESE court orders right away! Just like they’ve obeyed the countless other court orders levied against them previously. Until some mother fuckers are thrown in an actual jail cell, nothing is going to happen!

Damn, someone better write that report, fast. I am pretty sure it was just a title page and 162 blank pages no one ever thought would be read! Or maybe page 2 says, "because Trump made us do it."

The order gives the board until Oct 14 to propose "narrowly tailored" redactions to the JLL plan, with written justifications. Should be interesting to see how much of a $250M renovation plan they can argue is a state secret.

Every time I see these judgements I ask myself a simple question. Who’s going to make them unseal the evidence. Haven’t seen any sign of law enforcement in the US when it comes to cases like this in a few years.

Is it redacted because the renovation money is going to a Trump family member or loyal friend? Like it did with the reflecting pool? Or just hiding the collusion meetings on how to get Trump's name back on the face of the building?

Good. Sealing occasionally makes sense, but I can't think of any legit reason why construction project details for an arts center using our tax dollars (or bribe $ to the admin?) should be kept under seal. These docs shouldn't include nuclear secrets, private medical info, or classified state info.

...and they'll ignore it, and 34Felonies will have the building demolished because he didn't get his way, like a toddler smashing the toy he wants because he's been told no.
