The BEST ROGUELIKE AWARD goes to Caves of Qud. "It's a recent one, but you know, evolution happens. Rich, beautiful writing, [...] a roguelike that is actually like Rogue" 💚 in the acceptance speech, @jfg.land & @unormal.bsky.social say DF is a "north star in the community" 💚

The BEST DESCENDANT goes to Rimworld! "it's a fact that Dwarf Fortress revitalized and helped make a new kind of colony sim [...] all of them tighter experiences and better [...] excellent game" 🔥Tynan from @ludeonstudios.bsky.social accepts and says "noone has topped" DF ❤️

The INSIDE SCOOP award goes to @blindirl.bsky.social! "I don't think anyone else has done such a good job to get the word out like that [..] still one of the reasons we're still around". The WIZARDRY AWARD goes to DFHack! "Without [it], I don't think we were really a playable game. I don't think we would have made it, no. [...] We don't have the first clue how you hack a video game" 🎉 Their rep Kelly Kinkade (Rome of Oxtrot) says DFHack has had over 200 contributors for 17+ years!
