Tarn and Zach are "honoring some of the people that have been part of the project throughout the years"! The first award is the Beyond Qualiity ORIGINS AWARD ...it goes to ANGBAND, "the most complete RPG", "I remember playing a bunch of mods for it" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angband...

The Beyond Quality STORYTELLER AWARD goes to Kruggsmash, for really bringing life to the game! Congratulations @kruggsmash.bsky.social ! He says he hopes the devs will "keep imagining, keep crafting" ❤️

The BEST ROGUELIKE AWARD goes to Caves of Qud. "It's a recent one, but you know, evolution happens. Rich, beautiful writing, [...] a roguelike that is actually like Rogue" 💚 in the acceptance speech, @jfg.land & @unormal.bsky.social say DF is a "north star in the community" 💚

It really does mean a lot, you bearded bastards 😌
