Good morning, #Septopolis. A little more homey and cozy compared to yesterday's places, I want you to share the locations that serve a role we've been losing rapidly in our own world. Where's Bob's pint after work? Where are the game stores that host low cost events? The birdhouse craft workshops?

“A House of Mince and Mead” is a bar that happens to have a kitchen and banger meatloaf frequented by locals in Ashbury Heights. This is also the place where those mincemeat turnovers became very popular (I’m really hoping high ABV mead will have proper preservative properties, sounds yummy).

It’s a decent sized establishment for being “just a bar” [pls don’t make me work out occupancy limits rn] that feels very homey and has room to support a free space for people to do activities sponsored by its regulars in a small subscription, which they all acknowledge is essentially advertising.

Eventide (stylized as all lower case “eventide”) on the other hand is a higher-class night club found in Miralleda, though not quite a “true” third space due to the barrier of entry—however, it is one for the well-off or well-connected of the sub-district.

2 bars! That's cool. I havent seen Eventide mentioned before I dont think. Are the owners on any terms at all or are they too class separated to care what the other is doing?

I don’t have a visual in mind just yet, but I’m thinking of something very “futuristic” with either a lot of smooth contours and well placed strip lights or heavy, harshly angled geometries. That'll be a place for later Act 2 TCOM. ✨
