Any time life gets awkward I think of the time a distant aunt tried desperately to matchmake me with her child (MY COUSIN), at a relative's solemn wake, in front of my own mother, who later told me marriage between cousins twice removed was okay. ... Yeah nothing will ever top that.

the only thing they werent wrong about is it is, from a genetic standpoint ok to marry twice removed or third cousins because there is virtually no shared dna at that point. still kinda ick tho and literally everything else about that situation is not ok. x.x
