Maybe Big Walk is game of the year

Hope they developed fully on Linux or Mac then. Otherwise they’d still be supporting Microsoft. Also why release on windows? Gotta own a copy of windows to play the game. Which supports Microsoft. Lmao.

I dont think you've actually thought this through Releasing on Xbox gives Microsoft 30% of every sale, releasing on Steam gives them 0%

Except you have to have given Microsoft money for windows… if Xbox the smaller platform is bad then windows should be even worse.

I’m not combating that. I’m taking issue with their inconsistency. If you make your game playable and developed on the software from the same company you have said you don’t support, it comes across as dishonest.

So doing nothing is a better response? Every decision you take at this level always comes with a degree of compromises. It’s a matter of drawing the line of how much you can sacrifice.

Again. No. I want consistency. Not just picking and choosing when to be the good guy and when to make sure your money doesn’t get hurt.

And yet they participate in society!

There's practically no one out there buying windows licenses just to play this single indie game on their computer lol.
