cool 🤙 yeah, this one isn't finished in terms of aesthetic I feel needs the perspective tweaked and the colour played with. but did throw it together quick to scratch the itch 😅 tricky because it needs to sometimes scale a lot of characters so will see what I can do with timing

nerd sniped myself with this tonight technique is using GSAP to create one animation that goes through all the letters moving between letters is a case of scrubbing the animation playhead by animating the time this keeps things pretty performant 🔥

Every 6 months or so I see something like this and I start fiddling around to get a css only version of this. I generally surrender after a couple of hours and forget about it until the cycle repeats itself.

ha - yeah, i need JavaScript to control the animation loop here goal was performance and low overhead here so it's: - one flip animation - repeat that the amount of characters available - on each iteration, change the text content - cache that animation - scrub that animation to flip to letters
