Post

Hi! I wrote a book about being a First Assistant Editor. It's called "Every Frame Counts: An Assistant Editor's Reference Book" and it's being published by Routledge on April 2nd. Written BY an assistant FOR assistants. #PostChat #PostSky

I talk a lot about @avidmediacomposer.bsky.social but it's a mix of technical and holistic tips, tricks and notes. Not a definitive guide, more so insight into the mind and workflow of a First Assistant Editor in a scripted environment.

I'm excited to share this with everyone and if you like it please tell a friend! More to come as we get closer to the release date. Happy to field any questions in the meantime.

This looks awesome!! Any chance there will be an ebook???

I was desperately looking for resources in post before finding #postchat & @dr0id.bsky.social It’s a community that literally changed my life LITERALLY changed me. I felt alone and sought advice in post. This 📕 will do that as well! People crave that knowledge. It’s going to help so many! Congrats 🙌

Likewise! I talk a lot about how important community is, especially in such a competitive field. We all lift each other up. Thanks for the kind words, and I’m looking forward to donating copies to your next giveaway!

This means a lot to me. I’m so glad to know you, Corey.
