"Everything would be better with a chronological feed" is the new "everything would be better if people online used their real names" but I have actual paid work to do today and I cannot therefore spend the day writing a lengthy article for free (writing this so I have to stick to it)

You think you want a chronological feed. You don't. And almost everything you think uses a chronological feed only…doesn't.

"Should I rephrase this so every single bluesky nerd (hi IRL friends) doesn't reply to it about how they're the special and different boy" "no no just stick to the general broad brush point it'll be fine" I was a FOOL.

I mean, it was a bold take on a platform where most regular users are probably using a chronological timeline

Following only. And on the rare occasions i log into X I immediately set it back to followers only, chronological

That doesn't work anymore fwiw. The 'recent' option isn't chronological at all.
