It is my opinion that it is actually quite easy to find good new music, and the only thing you really need is a sincere intention to seek out new music, and a willingness to listen to new music when it is recommended to you.

No, but I do have a cd by Ethiopian singer Netsanet Melesse, Spirit of Sheba (Shanachie) which is fantastic and features the Wallias band backing her. Thanks for the link--more to explore.
