Advance voting in Kansas begins today! We’ve got our first report of the number of mail-in ballots requested so far, and a few hundred have already been returned. Our first in-person voting report (to the limited extent counties start today) will be tomorrow. #ksleg

Current status: 82,543 ballots requested. That’s lower than the first report in 2022, but the share of votes cast by mail this August was low compared to previous years. May be a reaction to uncertainty about the process with recent law changes. County breakdowns here: ike-lab.com/dailyev_2611...
