Spoke with Surena, checked in, and I’m only going to say a few things. (Even if she did say I can let the chopper sing) The only reason I’m saying anything is because while everyone wants to step away “until they have all the facts”, that didn’t stop many people from spreading the lies via texts.

Firstly, the same reactionary desire to protect white feelings that got Jordon in the position he’s in now, is in a lot of folks. So many takes about how much people didn’t like him and calls to the CRIT Awards (???) while forgetting the main issue that’s happening. He earned his burns, but YIKES!

I think if you spread any of the lies about Omar, you should be doing your due diligence to let them know about Surena’s statement. Omar has been around since I’ve started doing shit on G&S back in 2014 and has been known as a great person. This isn’t a bulletproof metric, but should at least give..

…pause to some of the HEINOUS things he was accused off. Especially since the person doing it has had quite the opposite reputation. So, I immediately decided to support Surena when she told me this happened and she gave me the low down on the situation. I then consulted with a few people I know…

…in law about all the information I had. (They weren’t my lawyer, it wasn’t legal advice yada yada you know the spiel) They let me know all the ways in which the claims being made couldn’t be true and were able to confirm that there were no active charges against him. (This was pre 7/9/25).

I have since combed through the evidence used in another instance of this debacle and saw the full document that was posted and cropped with the arrest date circled. Firstly, the crimes listed only account for 1 of the claims against him and secondly, while there is an “arrest date” he was never…

…arrested. I really wanted to clarify that because as much as people beat on their chest about knowing how the system is abused against the marginalized, so many people bended the knee at seeing a court document. Y’all are so unserious.

With the speculation already afoot, I wanted to clarify those things. The case falls apart the moment you look into it because all the exhibits are filled with “trust me bro” evidence and a lot of shitty people corroborating a false narrative. When all is said and done, we’ll get to those folks.

Since the button was pushed on the lies, I am posting one thread to offer some clarity on why some of us are so certain that one side is lying and the other side is innocent. That’s all I have to say for now. Be blessed and do better.

Posting for more clarity on the “arrest” language:

I’m doing my best to work against the smear campaign that has been going on in the background via whispers and texts for almost 2 years now. When Surena’s video came out, everyone decided to “step back and let the courts stuff settle” but that doesn’t undo the damage that was done.

More so, when the court works out in his favor, that allows everyone to believe justice has been served and continue with their lives without doing their part to reverse the harm and contact EVERYONE they contacted before. It’s pure cowardice and goofy behavior.

Now because you’re in too deep, we are trusting in “the courts” and “due process”. Which as someone who was wrongfully arrested and had to read a police report of lies about my actions treated as the highest truth by a judge, has made look at some people sideways.

Lastly, no one rushed for gossip. They were fed information and the same attitudes that got us here made them rush to protect instead of being introspective about who gave them the info and why.
