Point your netrunners and sundress Syncterms at bbs.alsgeeklab.com port 2323 😁 lots of retro fun

What the what. I mean logically there'd be an ASCII/ANSI BBS scene still out there... most likely somewhat scattered... but I haven't even thought about that kind of art in 30 years. :O

Absolutely love this. Just found you & I thought you might appreciate this. I’m making a fictional 1989 BBS / FakeOS game called Glyphis_IO BBS: The Proxy Tapes 1989.. I’ve just put together the trailer and would genuinely value your take on it. This is the link: youtu.be/1-R2HpWx2QA?...

im also a bit biased because my #BBS runs on #MysticBBS software and the author also made Netrunner. But yeah #Syncterm is more popular I think.

Speaking of the "X", I donated $70 when it was only a 1 line Galacticom setup, but because of that it grew to a 7 multi-line system and the rest is history, though the one system that made a ton of money in Victoria, BC had to be The Proving Grounds.

The only issue with Netrunner for Linux is: It does not appear to run under Wayland, (unable to init video) and Wayland is the future. With that said: I've been running the Windows version of Netrunner in Linux under Bottles, and it runs great.

This video is amazing!! We were such geeks...

And NOW, thanks to the Internet and all it's Bots and AI Slop, BBS' are coming back into fashion. At least for those of us still using REAL computers since BBS' are not exactly Mobile device friendly.
