Bingo. I asked it to in-paint (out-paint?) the UV-unwrapped texture. No luck with any models so far, but to be fair that's probably a skill issue on my part.

yeah I imagine this would have to be a fine-tune model with a comfyui pipeline to work

Working in UV space is probably too much to ask, but I feel like at least one of the models should be able to work with the actual projected texture render.
