How does giving away your leverage to make reforms turn into a victory? ICE was funded by the BBB for a couple of years so defunding ICE until then isn't possible. That plan was, we thought, shut them all down until ICE reforms, and now it isn't.

Call or email your house GOP member, and your GOP senate member tell them to pass a bill to pay TSA. Tell them not another penny for ICE or CBP. Remind them you vote, too.

Unfortunately, the bill is not a done deal. Mike Johnson has held the entire country hostage until the House adds funding for ICE and CBP back into the bill and tacks on voter suppression before sending it back to the Senate. Airports will be nuts for another month, at least.

I'm for abolishing ICE and bringing back the INS - Immigration and Naturalization Service. And Border Patrol belongs at the border.

You do know that ICE & CBP got separate funding in the One Big Beautify Bill in the amount of $180 Billion over and above their regular fiscal budget. Republicans saying there was no funding and Democrats wanted to shut down DHS was a lie.

The only ICE reform is to eliminate and disband ICE entirely, then arrest, prosecute and imprison every last member of ICE for crimes against the Constitution and humanity itself. ICE cannot be 'reformed' - it must be destroyed forever, and punished severely.
