There’s so many things people think I should care about enough that they think it would make me feel bad for. my ex would always say “nobody likes you” and that got to me until I thought about it as if it were true, and I’m just like, welp thsts ground zero then

and I see people actively not like me, and it doesn’t help being in one of the rudest states of the US, and then I’m like, well, I think I’m nobody, so if you’re actively not liking me, you’re just less than nobody, or something like that

I mean, do I want people to like me? I guess, or not really, but I don’t necessarily want them to not like me, but then I’m not really doing anything where being liked is even relevant, so I honesty dont know how I feel about it

I just don’t know how the one person I chose to marry would say it over and over, but to essentially tell me something that is in and of itself incredibly hurtful yet not really something I personally care about is just proof she didn’t know me
