THUNDERBOLTS was proof the Marvel machine has juice in it when writers are allowed to cook and Feige/Igor aren't touching the scripts

When they wrapped up the events of IW 5 minutes in I knew some bullshit was coming

In the rare case of winning as a hater of something mainstream I managed to convince multiple family members and coworkers it was really bad during the theatrical run. I did have to act like thor ragnarok was a masterpiece to do it but I think it was a worthwhile trade ngl.

This sets off so many things in my brain that make me angry. So I'm going to agree with you and then pretend I never read this post. 💜

the way they flopped about the long-term social and political effects of the snap-reverse snap, matches the way it feels that collective mainstream society seems to think covid is over/never happened.

I'm long past the days of keeping up but the obvious pattern has seemed like the further they get from being crossover or setup the more they feel like actual movies. Like GotG3 and Thunderbolts have minimal connection and you can see way more heart than say, Ant-Man 3 existing purely for setup.

i generally liked phase 1-3 of marvel when they came out and i hated infinity war and endgame when they came out.

It's no Shin Kamen Rider
