this is what the free market does, it is an evolutionary process to produce the most efficient forms of extraction and exploitation. without government legislation and enforcement to regulate this shit on both the labour and consumer side it will only get worse forever

It gets even better! You can design a system of “grinding” for the currency you’ll need TO gamble, then sell people a means of skipping the tedium you put in there in the first place! Heck you can even get people to gamble on THAT if you get them hooked enough!

yep. they want maximum returns with as little actual employees, production costs, or oversight as possible. that is the goal and literally why keep idtech around when you believe you can just gesture at roblox and go "make that, again"
