i only know of code veronica bc i didn’t play resi growing up but the name sounded really cool in that japanese naming scheme sorta way, ive played a few at this point but it might be the only one i ever own myself, again bc the name sounds really cool

I think one of the important points here is that Capcom also just have been releasing more Resident evil games over the last 10 years then Square releasing Final Fantasy games which means people have them in their collective consciousness more

In fairness I think some percentage of the Veronica trailer views are just trying to find an upload without the glitches.

When I tell people the new Star Wars movie is under-performing compared to the finale of a Newgrounds animator's cartoon series.

It's not as drastic if you add up all the different trailer views since FF7 is split between more videos, but RE:V is still about double FF7-4 in Youtube views.

we sure do. the older titles are still playable i do think kingdom hearts is more popular with the under 35 crowd but that's a gateway into mainline ff
