I am the kind of person that really enjoys the timeline stuff (both the Literal History and BotW's approach) so TotK was very annoying from this angle.

I really did love the notion of all the branching timelines having collapsed into one single path, like some sort of entropic collapse, and the passage of time smoothing down all the mismatched pieces til it was impossible to see the seams. Probably cooler in my head than the reality ever would be.
