doing Day 2 part II with local context after doing it with brute force was a very silly idea. Cursor Composer Agent was somewhat useful for writing an analyzer to diff the solution with brute force.

it's wild that Rust's standard library doesn't include `regex`

Lol yeah. Easy enough to add but that surprised me as well. I suppose it is a fairly situational library.

part 2 of day 24 was plain suffering, but I really enjoyed #AdventOfCode hoping it's not the last one before we get turned into paperclips
