As AI continues to shape design and development, the role of frontend developers is evolving. I predict that in the future, frontend devs will focus more on architecture, performance optimization, and integrating AI-generated components into production workflows.

They’ll leverage tools that automate repetitive tasks while collaborating closely with designers to ensure creativity and code work in harmony. companies will still be yes-code companies.

I’m not worried about AI taking my job.

The need for developers to code from scratch will 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞, but their responsibility in crafting scalable, high-quality UI systems will 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥.
