Thanks! It's essentially froxel-based fog, based on the tech that Frostbite shared a while back ( www.ea.com/frostbite/ne... ) combined with a screen-space multiple scattering effect (SSMS) which is pretty much just a bloom pass where the scattering is determined by the screen-space fog density

Ooh thank you! I always had the intuition that a slight blur on fog would look good but I didn't know if it was ever done! Very nice work

A great use case is from this repo here (which was also a big inspiration for my own): github.com/OCASM/SSMS It looks really cool even with just the default unity fog ✨

Here's some of the things you can do with 🌫HAZE🌫 This is just Unity URP, some megascans/free assets, default post-processing and a bunch of HAZE to enhance the lighting ✨ Imagine what YOU can do with custom meshes, some artistic vision and more than ~2 hours
