I have a lot of fond memories from GW2, but I still think the sheer size and scale of the meta-event's final battle in Dragon's Stand from HoT is one of the most awe-inspiring points of the entire game.

1) Going on my first true ’Legendary Journey‘ crafting Nevermore. I loved taking the egg around to imbue it with magic, feeding the hatchling and teaching it to fly, earning the trust of the Raven spirit. I still have all of the collection items in one of my inventories because it’s so sentimental.

2) Diving off of a very high peak with the griffon for the first time. The secrecy surrounding its existence, the puzzle to be solved to find the sanctuary, the grand journey across the desert to save the remaining eggs. It was all so exhilarating.

I miss old Lion's Arch. It felt like a bustling city. A crucible of cultures. A place you need to be at to experience. New Lion's Arch feels like an oversized, sterilized bazaar. I understand the open areas are better to hold events in, but I still cannot help to think we lost more than we gained

Had 0 idea it’d take ~1hr, & though I told my fellow dungeon runners to go on without, they patiently waited for me until I made it :’) Was struck by how kind folks were and in awe of how vast Tyria was, even then

I’ve been playing since the beta and I still love gw2 just as much now as I did back then. It’s been a truly unique and amazing experience with one of the best online communities I’ve ever played with. Thank you for 14 years.

I have a lot, but I especially want to highlight how Visions of Eternity lifted me from a really bad mental place this year for a bit, that was one of the few moments when I felt joy this year, so thank you for peak. Can't wait for the finale!
