one thing I feel Bluesky hasn’t taken advantage of is being able to build new forms of interaction it’s twitter. It is. There’s nothing that would make me want to use it over twitter if I’d not already made that choice. No different ways to engage, nothing unique.

Sure, if you mean likes and reposts. I’m more poking at user facing features like fleets, audio posts, polls, co-posts, and other lexicon posts like check-ins or music

No, I mean all the other apps people are building on atproto 🙂

ahhhh yeah completely agree, I’d love to seen them make Bluesky a microblogging platform where the ecosystem can build the integrations themselves kinda similar to how Slack does it?

yeah completely. One potential path they have is exposing capabilities in the app for data from other lexicons to be displayed.

Yeah! I know. I’m saying from a Bluesky-the-social-network perspective (not an AT Protocol perspective) it would make sense for them to do that and have it expose more users to an even broader set of what the AT Protocol provides than they currently can / ever could build themselves.

Most users of Bluesky are going to use the official Bluesky app on web and mobile. It’s a massive surface area to expose what others are building on the protocol. Similarly, doing that work on social-app would also give it to @blackskyweb.xyz and @mu.social since they’re forks of social-app.
