I deleted a few weeks back, I only wish I had another account to delete

I’ve been off since Musk welcomed Trump back in 2022, and I’m grateful I ripped the bandaid off when I did. Now I only have to lick my TikTok and Instagram wounds 😕

YEAH I've been doing the same since the election results, in deleting my account tomorrow. Still a bit sad about it, I've had it since 2008 but it's gotta go.

EXACTLY what I'd been doing, and exactly what I did. Got my last backup and deleted last night. Enough.

I still need to wait for some friends and other artists to move to their abandoned Bluesky accounts. I sometimes feel alone here, not just following, just really little oomfs here.

I deleted the morning of the election

Closed all my accounts but Bluesky awhile ago. No Instagram, Facebook, Threads or X.

But I'm honestly tempted to log in once and post a side by side gif of musk and mustache man and/ or just call out musk. My hope is my account will get banned that way and I can show my brainwashed mother that he doesn't give a shit about free speech.

I assume they claim those in their user numbers, so actually deleting hurts them in that way. Also actually deleting presumably incurs a legal responsibility for them to delete all the info they have on you, which they may or may not do, but it's something.

This is where I'm at. Especially with Meta confirming they're going to roll out fake AI profiles I want to keep my usernames on these sites but contribute to their high number of inactive accounts. 🤷🏻

Finally stopped being lazy and deleted my two accounts I haven't used in like 2 years. I'm shocked it was easier than I thought it was going to be, logging in was harder by far.

Deleted mine last year after being inactive on it for 3 years. A certain someone messed up that site from day one and made it insufferable. I was getting suspended constantly so it's not a pro free speech site. It's a full of excrement site owned by a billionaire nazi.
