Tower 14 for Windows is here — with the new Branches Review view and much smarter "Fully Merged" detection! 🎉 Finally, a reliable answer to "is it really safe to delete this branch?" Here's everything you need to know 🧵

Repository full of branches? The new "Branches Review" view puts them all side by side and compares them against a base branch of your choice. No more scrolling the sidebar and inspecting branches one by one.

Ever deleted a branch with sweaty palms? That's squash and rebase merges for you: the commits on the base branch no longer match the ones on your branch, so Git insists it was never merged. Tower 14 puts an end to that 💪

Tower now runs 4 independent checks: Git's own merge detection, merge commit analysis, deleted remote tracking branches — and matching your branches against merged Pull Requests from GitHub, GitLab, etc. (a Tower Pro feature).

Trust matters when deleting branches, so the hint view shows exactly which checks matched — and links straight to the merge commit or the merged Pull Request, so you can verify before hitting delete.
