Fixed my @astro.build SSR + async Svelte + prerendering demo. Had to resort to a server endpoint. Good enough for now but I still want to figure out how to SSR a data-fetching index.astro on Cloudflare Workers. It would always only return [object Object] with prerender=false fubits.dev/how-much-is/

On day 4 of debugging, I think I found a bug either in @astro.build or in the Cloudflare adapter. Base problem: my .astro SSR routes aren‘t picked up in dist/_routes.json:include if I add them to routes.extend.include in Astro config, they are parsed to null in _routes.json

yes will do - I need to spend some time away from the computer but I'll try to do it soon. Patching a single route unlocks every other SSR / Server Islands route btw! bsky.app/profile/fubi...

omfg it is sufficient to register a single ssr route in astro.config.mjs This is enough to make every other SSR route and rooute with Astro Server Islands works again! ffs.

Workaround for Astro SSR with Cloudflare Workers: - build locally - manually add the routes to dist/_routes.json:include[] - wrangler deploy I guess it’s time to open an issue.

I vide-coded a script which runs after the build step and replaces the nulls in _routes.json If I deploy with `pnpx wrangler deploy` it uses wrangler 4.42.0 and SSR works. If I deploy with `pnpm wrangler deploy` it uses wrangler 4.41.0 (pinned locally) and SSR breaks. F M L - what is happening.
