I know this sounds simplistic, but it is a very good thing that the Trump administration is now squarely on the defensive - about ICE, but also about most things - and it’s great that Dems are sustaining the pressure. Credit where it’s due.

Last February (feels like a century ago) I wrote this piece arguing that at some point the "player piano" of executive orders and overwhelm that gave the sense of total control would end and there would be a very important opportunity for Dems to show MAGA weakness/disconnect/overreach.
