I don't think any of us (at the Godot Foundation) wants AI slop on the store, so we'll do our best to find which policies and guidelines to put in place to avoid it. The best way to help is by sending your feedback 🙏

I think maybe having something similar to what steam does and require a user to let people know if it was ai assisted and giving it a little badge

For generative AI, right? I hope there is an explanation or definition of what counts somewhere. I mean, the code that controls NPCs is technically AI. And yes I know AI is an umbrella term that has been shifting, and today we understand AI as LLMs and diffusion models. Yet, precisely, for clarity.

Yes, every author can say what they want, including saying they use old school symbolic AI like path finding, not the modern slop. Yet, I've seen enough to know there is people who will take anything on that field as red flag. And I sympathize. I wish I didn't know the meaning of AI has changed.

'uses ai' and 'tested by human' doesn't tell a potential user much so some clearer, specific use cases might be nicer. Though, if the author is picking, it's a question of how honest they will be - that could be an issue using tags as well (why would the author tag it AI if users might hide it)
