Big names in AI and Silicon Valley tech announced yesterday that they're launching a boarding academy for 16 to 22 year olds. (Would you trust the people in this scene with keeping an eye on minors?) theacademysf.com

"We were letting actual 8th graders sneak into our wild drug and sex parties at our Silicon Valley AI group house" is the most eyebrow-raising quote among many from that New York Times piece, IMO. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/21/t...

Let's recall that apparently Sam Altman was in a Discord with a 13 year old in 2020 bsky.app/profile/fain...

I have a theory about how Eric Zhu was getting into AI group house parties at the age of 13, per the recent New York Times piece: he says he was in a Discord group chat with Sam Altman (and others) at that age. techcrunch.com/2024/07/22/1...

Yes, the Andreessen Horowitz-backed big tech boarding school that takes students as young as 16 is, in fact, advertising Tyler Cowen - he of the "if you wish to see a virgin on-screen, this is one of your better chances" creep article - as faculty.
