Yes, Im agreeing with you about the silliness of the anti AC thing. People couldnt live in large parts of the South or SouthWest US without modern AC. Likewise, large parts of Northern Europe and Canada with heating. Imagining a "world without these things" is just regressive fantasizing.

Its in the same genre as posts about how far your food has travelled, and how we should all grow our own vegetables. I mean SURE, I think we could all benefit from buying local, in season etc. But returning to even a partial subsistence farming model, is a delusion of people with no understanding.
