I FIRMLY believe the doodle trend can be laid largely at the feet of straight husbands who refused to get an *actual standard poodle* because “they’re dogs for girls.”

Poodle and pit bulls are like the two breeds I would be cautious around. And I own a pittie. Oh and rough collie. Bitey fucking dogs.

Huh, I grew up with a rough collie and have known more and they’ve been notably extremely non-bitey.

All three breeds need a lot of training from what I have seen.

Our rough collie was extremely easy to train to be a family pet and quite low energy, which is what they’re known for nowadays. Super different from border collies, which are still very much a working breed.
