It's okay, leadership is trying to widdle that lead down to 1-2%. We've got to have a strong Republican party!

Yes, yes, Whittle you little goblin. Thank you for correcting other's grammer and spelling errors and typos, you must be an incredibly popular person and not considered a pest and annoyance at all.

Technically he said "here's why I think it is..." and I haven't read the article but hopefully the answer is "it's because I'm ridiculously ill informed, and not very bright" / "I was kicked in the head by a horse" or similar.

Here's an idea for editors, let's do a little roleplay. Writer: "I have a contrarian take!" Editor: "Is it fucking stupid?" Writer: "Well yes, but it bucks the consensus. No one else is saying it." Editor: "Is that because the consensus is correct?" Writer: "... yes but... " <hang up>

Basically these guys just never grew up. They peaked around the time they were sitting their A levels and their understanding of the world/insight hasn’t changed much since…

Seem to have memories of listening to him 20 odd years ago on Radio4 around economic issues, and thinking, no, this is all a bit too accepting of business narratives. Although he was sane then....

I think he's pointing out that 'there may be trouble ahead' ie going after the President and undoing the damage Trump has done may mean the Dems can get nothing positive done for the 'future' giving the Republicans time to moan about the 'extreme' left etc. US must surely change presidential rules.

I’ve managed to read a bit of it from the picture. I think the calamity is that 2/3 non-white people and a vegan will be prominent in the Democrat party.
