can't imagine a bigger fundraising bonanza than Wikipedia losing its tax exempt status as part of a political prosecution. I give every year and don't itemize. These people are so clueless.

there isn't even a conduit for Wikipedia to be intimidated by this. The staff don't have much editorial control. The worst case is the US corp shuts down and Wikipedia Deutschland takes over (it's a pretty sizable org itself).

Almost nobody f**king itemizes in 2025. Trump made that happen by making the standard deduction absolutely massive in his first term, and limiting SALT deductions. Only the 1% itemizes now and I doubt they give much to Wikipedia.
