I could find four equally scathing takes from the current era saying the same about Bluesky. That wouldn't be any more true or defensible than the quotes you posted. If you had a curated feed of smart bloggers in 2005, you klearned more than if you just read the New York Times and watched CNN.

I don't disagree. I ain't devaluing blogs, podcasts, or wikipedia. I think they're pretty great

What's great about them, Paul? Is it the collaborative human effort that made them, or is it just the sheer volume of Content(tm) they produced? Because I really think you're missing the point.
